May 22, 2007 – Ferriprox Newly Launched in Indonesia and the Philippines

Ferriprox has recently been approved and launched in two new countries in the Pan Pacific. For the approximately 1,000 thalassemia major patients in Indonesia, and 1,800 patients in the Philippines, there is now an alternative to deferoxamine for the treatment of iron overload. Launch meetings were held in Jakarta and Manila respectively, featuring lectures by world leading hematologists.
